“Vanessa was so awesome to work with! I had a tight deadline and she was able to deliver the voiceover the same day. I liked how she asked me questions to make sure she could bring the character to life the way I imagined, which leads me to the next thing I really appreciated: Her being so patient with me. The character she voiced was Imu (One Piece) for a fanfic trailer of mine. If you know who this character is, you can probably get an idea of how tricky this character to voice is. And as such, I wasn’t able to offer a whole lot of help on tone and emotion. But she was patient with my responses (which involved a lot of rambling, sorry Vanessa!) to her questions. She exceeded my expectations by doing multiple different takes so I could see which one I liked since I couldn’t nail down a specific voice. All in all, she went above and beyond, and I will definitely ask for her assistance in future projects!”
